[en] Tango no sekku (端午の節句) which is rather called nowadays Kodomo no Hi こどもの日 (Children’s Day), on the 5th day of the 5th month, is traditionally dedicated to young boys. Girls have already celebrated Hinamatsuri (see Furoshikiblog post I and II).
